Kader and Morgane have made an unusual choice: to leave everything behind to become coffee roasters. Following training in 2023 and many months of preparation, they are launching Kafémo, a mobile coffee truck operating along the Loire-Atlantique coast; they are artisan roasters committed to the coffee tradition, yet resolutely mobile and contemporary.
Kafémo needed a dual-purpose identity: one logo for the food truck and another for the coffee bean packaging. Two complementary designs, a single set of guidelines.
The logo is based on a hand-drawn typeface that has been reworked into a vector format, a touch that immediately anchors the identity in craftsmanship. The main typeface, with its soft serifs, is reminiscent of old lead printing type: it evokes tradition, care and the time-honoured craft. A second typeface, with straight, geometric lines, balances the whole: modernity, legibility, mobility. Tradition and contemporary, just like the project itself.
The colour palette traces the journey of the coffee: from the plant’s first shoots to the tasting of the finished product. A chromatic progression that tells the story of the product without needing to explain it.
