The missing rendezvous.
The challenge was not simply to create a logo, but to create a signature that would be memorable and bring a new audience together.
The first art direction decision was to turn
« Les Rendez-vous de Camille » into RDV. The name gains impact and memorability without losing its identity.
This direct, modern contraction immediately sets the tone: accessible, lively, assertive.
The « RDV » lettering is drawn entirely by hand and then vectorised. Its generous round shapes bring an approachable warmth from the start, far from any institutional code. The star that sits on top of the V is the project’s signature element: recognisable and endlessly adaptable across all event communication materials, it evokes celebration and the moment without having to spell it out.
Rather than imposing a single colour to build the visual identity of this event production, I created a palette of six complementary shades:
– night black,
– cream white,
– deep red,
– intense orange,
– summer pink,
– velvet blue.
Each colour corresponds to a mood, a concert or an exhibition.
The visual identity stays instantly recognisable
while adapting to each event.
The identity was rolled out across all print materials: posters, concert tickets, badges and tote bags. Les RDV de Camille shows what a visual identity designed to last can bring: consistent, flexible and a true reflection of the people behind it.
Thank you to Camille and Justine for this project.
